The conference programme consists of several different elements, namely the scientific programme, special sessions, working group sessions, networking/social events and the Young EFFoST Day. Scientific programme: The submitted abstracts reviewed by the Scientific Committee will be accepted as an oral presentation in one of the parallel sessions or as a poster presentation. Thought leaders on the main topics of the conference theme will be invited to speak during the plenary sessions.
Special sessions: EU projects and European associations have the opportunity to showcase their scientific results in these sessions.
Social events: Meeting new contacts and catching up with peers is facilitated through social gatherings such as the Welcome Reception and Pub Quiz on Monday 6 November and at the Conference dinner at Palau de les Arts on Tuesday 7 November.
Young EFFoST Day: this is an exciting opportunity for students and young food scientists from academia, industry, and start-ups to expand their professional network. The morning programme is organized by young food professionals for young food professionals and held on Monday morning 6 November
