While our companion journal, Food & Function, focuses on the purpose of food and its relation to health and nutrition, this new journal publishes high-quality sustainable research on food engineering and technologies. Key topics include food preservation methods, shelf life and the creation of greener packaging.

The subject of the program is to support entities of the higher education and science system and other organizational units working for the dissemination of science in the implementation of projects aimed at presenting current scientific achievements and the latest results of scientific research or development work, by organizing scientific conferences or publishing scientific monographs.

The project is financed from the state budget funds awarded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education under the “Vectors of Science” Program. Project number WNK/SP/0026/2025/01. Funding amount: PLN 201 300,00. Total project value: PLN 253 220,00.
