Manuel Bernabeu Lorenzo, has a PhD in Biotechnology (2021) from the University of Barcelona, postdoctoral researcher “Margarita Salas” at the Institute of Agrochemistry and FoodTechnology (IATA-CSIC), Valencia, Spain.
Currently, his research activity is carried out within the group of Dr. Mª Carmen Collado focused on the microbiota of the maternal-infant environment. In addition, in collaboration with Dr. Francisco José Barba from the University of Valencia, the interaction between the microbiota and food and the application of non-thermal processing methods are being studied, searching for new sources of bioactive compounds with prebiotic potential.
