Noelia Pallarés Barrachina, is an assistant Professor in the area of Nutrition, in the University of Valencia. She has developed her scientific career in the areas of Food Sciences and Toxicology. She was graduated in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2012) and in Food Science and Technology (2015) at the University of Valencia. After, she completed her master’s degree in Food Quality and Safety (2015). She got her PhD studies in Food Sciences (2020) obtaining the Cum Laude qualification and international doctorate mention. During the doctoral thesis, she carried out a six-month pre-doctoral stay at the Università degli studi di Parma (Italy) (April-October 2018). More recently, she got a post-doctoral contract (August-October 2021) under the EU project AQUABIOPRO-FIT directed by the professor Francisco José Barba Orellana. During this period, she has done a post-doctoral research stay at the Mountain Research Center of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal) from September to December. Little while ago she was granted by the Margarita Salas program for junior postdoctoral researchers (January-September 2022) to develop a project in collaboration with the research group of MCarmen Collado IATA (CSIC). As a result of her research activity, she has published 31 research articles in scientific journals, 5 book chapters and she has participated with different contributions in more than 30 National and International congresses.
