Currently, the research activity is carried out within the group of Dr. Mª Carmen Collado focused on the microbiota of the maternal-infant environment. In addition, in collaboration with Dr. Francisco José Barba from the University of Valencia, the interaction between the microbiota and food and the application of non-thermal processing methods are being studied, searching for new sources of bioactive compounds with prebiotic potential.”
