Francisco Juan Marti Quijal completed his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at the University of Valencia, followed by a Master’s degree in Research and Rational Use of Medicines, also at the University of Valencia. He further pursued his doctoral studies in Food Science within the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Food Science, Toxicology, and Legal Medicine at the University of Valencia, supported by a predoctoral scholarship from the “Atracció de Talent” program. His research primarily focuses on the utilization of non-conventional extraction technologies, such as pulsed electric fields and supercritical fluid extraction, among others, for the effective recovery of bioactive compounds from agri-food by-products. Additionally, he investigates the bioactive properties of these compounds using in vitro models.”
