Juan Manuel Domínguez Ortega is Chief Executive of the CIP Institute, a European association that brings together academics and professionals in order to exchange and develop knowledge in the field of risk and crisis. He is Managing Partner of SD Group, a company specialized in supporting business managers through professional planning and project and risk management. He has also been an associate professor at University of La Rioja.

His field of expertise is linked to risk, business and project management. Since 2002 he has a relevant track record in the food industry supporting companies in different verticals such as wine, olive, fruit, grocery and meat, among others, both national and internationally. Juan Manuel is Food Engineer from University of Lleida (Spain) and holds an MBA from IE Business School (Spain). He is accredited as Lead Auditor in Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301), Project Management Professional (PMP®) and EFQM Evaluator (European Foundation for Quality Management). He is also a member of the sub-committee for Project Management standards of the Spanish Standardization Body (UNE).
